License Requirements Summary:

  • Residential (GB-2) Part 1: 80 question exam, 225 minute time limit, minimum test score 75%
  • Business & Law Portion: 50 question exam, 130 minute time limit, minimum test score 75%  or candidate may take a state approved Business & Law Course in lieu of taking the Business & Law Exam
  • State Application Fee = $36.00
  • PSI Test Fee = $134.53 per part
  • Experience requirement: 2 years on-the-job training under the supervision of a Residential Building Contractor or Building Inspector.
